It's Taco Time

 

Our first #SUNDAZE dinner party was a raging success.  We ate peach gazpacho chilled with cucumber-basil ice cubes, luscious burrata with herb salsa verde and charred bread, boneless short rib and squid with chile and mint, orzo salad with heirloom summer squash and dill-garlic scape buttermilk dressing, and finished it off with piles of olive oil cake and grilled plums with cherry syrup and mascarpone.  We drank rosé, naturally.


This time around, we're going tacos + tequila. Here's what to expect:

black bean hummus with charred jalapeno crema
cast iron queso fundido  
charred octopus tacos with peach-habanero salsa
skirt steak or maitake tacos with avocado salsa verde
elote (mexican street corn) served over quinoa salad

assorted paletas
